DIVING BEFORE DAWN: A Dream Exploration

Accessing your “innernet” through dream journaling

Dreams are ephemeral, like Instagram posts, providing valuable “Tweets” from conversations with our playfully ingenious subconscious. Awakening to this rich source of insight is available nightly to everyone who chooses to go Diving Before Dawn.

The author uniquely blends dream interpretation, memoir, and self-help genres to demonstrate the value of keeping a dream journal.

The narrative unfolds through 170 dreams spanning thirty-eight years of her dream journals and their interpretations, illustrating the profound insights that dreams reveal. Her journey into self-discovery, told through her dream world, brings to life a deeper understanding of her shadow self, childhood trauma, her spiritual awakening, and the grief from the sudden death of her husband of thirty-eight years. The prevalence of precognitive dreams and how she uses them as navigational tools throughout her life are highlighted.

Interspersed throughout the book are thirty-three original works from six artists that amplify the visceral, dreamlike experience.

Her ardent desire is to help others use their dreams as a rich source of inner guidance. Her gift of helping others, her curiosity and passion for information, and her attention to detail while seeing the big picture have been woven into her careers as an award-winning high school college and career counselor, director of the Universal Book Effort (a non-profit book donation organization), and owner of Pond’s Edge Nursery. Frequently viewed as an outlier, self-educated, not following the mainstream, and living eighteen years off the grid, she has never been shy about exploring new territory. What people have to say about the book

“I see your book as a beautiful contribution to the realm of consciousness studies, and I sincerely hope that many others will take an interest in it. You opened a whole new world through your inner discovery! After reading your book, my dreams have either gotten considerably more complex and lucid due to my openness to dream interpretation, or I have simply learned how to understand and capture my dreams more clearly due to the catalytic impact of your book!”

Gabrielle Kovalenko

“This is not your usual dream memoir but an unpredictable maze of revelations, reflections, invocations, and prophecies that rekindle the inner child and emphasize the power of our precognitive awareness in shaping our reality. Madison ingeniously takes us into the dream state where things are as they really are, not as they appear to be. Gems of wisdom are artfully woven into a visual and visceral tapestry of alchemical symbols and archetypal keys that open doors to inner knowing and rediscovery. You are holding a psychic map to a treasure trove. The compass is YOU. The treasure is to unlock the precognitive memory of your inner child as you work through emotional trauma and familial karma. Madison skillfully teaches us the art of visceral knowing to heal the cognitive dissonance in the world as we restore our natural state of childlike innocence and wonder.”

Antonia Ka Ph.D, D. Sc

dance theater scholar, esoteric researcher, and Yoga expert. She is the author of Yoga Outside the Box.

Dreams are conversations from your subconscious; Sandi inspires you to hear your own.”
